The Jane Taylor Reenactor Guild is named for the late Jane Taylor the originator of the re-enactors group originally part of the Beckwourth Mountain Club. The Black American West Museum is honored to continue her dream of keeping the legacy of African American history told through the stories of the men, women and children who settled in the western United States between 1800 to the mid 1900’s.
